Arnold I. Burns

Mr. Burns is the Chairman of QuanStar Advisor Group, LLC, a strategic management consulting firm. He previously served as the managing director of Natexis Bleichroeder Inc., a brokerage and investment banking firm, and its predecessor, Arnhold and S. Bleichroeder Inc., from 1999 to 2002. He was a practicing lawyer for over 45 years, including eleven years as a senior partner at Proskauer Rose LLP, from 1988 to 1999. Prior to joining Proskauer Rose, Mr. Burns served as an Associate Attorney General, and then Deputy Attorney General, with the US Department of Justice from 1986 to 1988.

Mr. Burns served in the Judge Advocate General's Corps of the US Army. Following his army service, he practiced law with Dewey Ballantine, and then founded his own firm, which grew to over 100 lawyers.

Mr. Burns is a graduate of Cornell Law School and Union College.
