Former RTX Corporation Chief Litigation Counsel Steven M. Greenspan Joins FedArb
August 27, 2025 – FedArb is pleased to announce that Steven M. Greenspan, Esq. has joined its panel. Based in Connecticut, Mr. Greenspan specializes in Complex Litigation, Class Actions, Corporate Governance, Employment and Labor Law, Environmental and Regulatory, Product Liability and Toxic Tort Litigation and Securities disputes.
Mr. Greenspan’s extensive experience in both the private and corporate sectors, as well as his leadership in the legal and civic communities, makes him exceptionally qualified to assist parties and counsel in resolving disputes as an arbitrator, mediator, discovery referee, and mock trial advisor.
Prior to joining FedArb, Mr. Greenspan served as Corporate Vice President and Chief Litigation Counsel for RTX Corporation (formerly known as both Raytheon Technologies Corporation and United Technologies Corporation). He managed global litigation for the corporation and its business units and led the legal teams overseeing environmental, health and safety, real estate and risk management functions.
Mr. Greenspan also spent nearly 25 years at the law firm Day Pitney LLP (formerly Day, Berry & Howard), where he was a litigation partner and held numerous leadership roles, including chair of the commercial litigation department. As a trial lawyer, he tried dozens of cases to verdict or judgment in federal and state courts nationwide and argued appeals in state and federal appellate courts. He also oversaw numerous arbitrations and mediations throughout his career.

Mr. Greenspan earned his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and his J.D. from University of Connecticut School of Law.
