Greenspan served as Corporate Vice President and Chief Litigation Counsel for RTX Corporation (formerly known as both Raytheon Technologies Corporation and United Technologies Corporation) from January 2011 until his retirement in December 2023. In this role, he managed global litigation for the corporation and its business units and led the legal teams supporting environmental, health and safety, real estate, and risk management functions. His work spanned complex litigation, regulatory matters, and risk management across a multinational enterprise.
Before joining RTX, Mr. Greenspan spent nearly 25 years at the law firm Day Pitney LLP (formerly Day, Berry & Howard), where he was a litigation partner and held numerous leadership roles, including Chair of the Commercial Litigation Department. As a trial lawyer, he tried dozens of cases to verdict or judgment in federal and state courts nationwide and argued appeals in state and federal appellate courts. He also handled numerous arbitrations and mediations throughout his career.
Mr. Greenspan’s extensive experience in both the private and corporate sectors, as well as his leadership in the legal and civic communities, makes him exceptionally qualified to assist parties and counsel in resolving complex disputes through arbitration, mediation, and related services.
