FedArb Arizona Presence

FedArb is excited to announce it has expanded its presence in Arizona with the addition of Don Bivens to its panel, where he joins Hon. Scott Bales.

Don Bivens will serve as a mediator, arbitrator, mock panelist, and oversee investigations. His areas of focus will be on complex litigation, business/commercial, securities, patent and trade secrets, class actions and employment discrimination disputes.

Prior to joining FedArb, he was partner and noted trial lawyer at Snell & Winter. He has decades of experience involving securities fraud, patent infringement, trade secrets, lender liability, environmental liability, professional negligence, officer and director liability, products liability, employment discrimination, real estate and construction matters, significant estate disputes, business torts and class actions. He also served as the former chair of the American Bar Association’s 55,000-member Section of Litigation.

FedArb established its presence in Arizona earlier this year when former Chief Justice Scott Bales joined its panel in January. Justice Bales acts as an arbitrator, mediator, special master and court- or party-appointed monitor. His practice focuses on contracts, corporate investigations, mass torts, tribal rights, oil/gas/energy/water and malpractice matters.

Prior to joining FedArb, Justice Bales served on the Arizona Supreme Court for 14 years, including five years as Chief Justice. He also worked on internal investigations for public and private clients, on civil and criminal matters related to Arizona’s tribal lands.
